As the planets continue to move in the sky they form different relationships with your natal planets creating opportunities and challenges that are expressed in the symbolic language of an astrological chart. An interpretation of the movement of the planets around your natal chart (transits), as well as other astrological techniques used to determine life phases (progressions), can help you understand the energies that are flowing through you at a particular point in time. Awareness of the current planetary influences that are specific to you can help make sense of your life when there may be a lot of challenges that are being presented. This can help you make choices that are appropriate to what is happening in your life.

Solar Return: Your personal New Year
Each year on your birthday, the Sun returns to the exact place it was when you were born and marks the beginning of a personal new year. A Solar Return chart will identify the developing themes and issues for the next year and give you some idea of what to expect in particular areas of your life. I recommend this consultation two to four weeks before your birthday to give you the information to prepare you for your upcoming year.

Chart Comparison: Relationships
When two people come together in any type of relationship, their natures come into direct contact. A chart comparison will give insight into how you and another person enhance and challenge each other and help you turn the relationship into a conscious growth experience with an awareness of both parties’ needs, desires, strengths, and vulnerabilities. At least one of the two will have to have a natal chart consultation to have a comparison chart consultation.

Consultations can vary anywhere from an hour and fifteen minutes to 2 hours. They can be done in person, on Skype or over the phone. The session will be recorded and emailed to you as an mp3 file.

WHAT IS A CHART?
A chart is a map of the solar system from the perspective of earth at the exact moment you were born. The outer circle of a chart represents the Zodiac, a 360˚ circle of constellations through which the planets pass. The placement of planets on this map gives the astrologer information about your nature, drives, challenges, and gifts.
WHAT INFORMATION SHOULD I PROVIDE FOR A CONSULTATION?
You will need your birthday, birth place, and exact birth time.
WHY DO I HAVE TO HAVE AN EXACT TIME?
The chart is created from the point of view of the Earth locating where all of the planets are in the sky at the moment of your birth. Because the Earth rotates on its axis every twenty-four hours, the sign viewed beyond the horizon (Ascendant) changes every couple of hours and the degrees of the sign changes every four minutes. It is crucial to have the exact time so the astrologer has an accurate map of the sky at the moment of your first breath.
